Mathnasium of Mobile is looking for energetic, personable people who enjoy math and like working with kids. Whether you're an education major, a STEM student, or someone who's always been "the math person," you'll make a real difference in students' confidence while building your own résumé and skills. What You'll Do You'll be trained in the Mathnasium Method and will: Help students in grades K-12 with math skills from basic arithmetic through Algebra II (and beyond if you're able). Work with students one-on-one and in small groups in a supportive learning center (no classroom management stress). Create a positive, encouraging environment where students feel safe to ask questions and try. Use our provided curriculum and materials—no lesson planning, no grading at home. What We're Looking For Solid math skills (at least through Algebra II; higher-level math is a plus). Comfort and patience working with children and teens. Clear communication and strong interpersonal skills. Dependable, professional, and willing to learn. Available for afternoon/evening shifts during the summer, with some availability in the fall if you continue.
