$17.00 - $25.00 per hour Job description: GRO Enrichment Writing Teacher Positions (K-6) About GRO Enrichment GRO Enrichment is a microschool serving homeschool families through small class sizes, individualized learning, and a strong focus on core academics. Our mission is to help students grow academically, socially, and personally in a supportive learning environment. Love teaching your subject without the stress of a traditional classroom? GRO Enrichment, a growing microschool in Fort Smith, is seeking passionate educators to teach one core subject area to students in Kindergarten through 6th grade. Open Positions Writing Teacher (K-6) Schedule Monday-Thursday 9:00 AM - 2:00 PM 20 hours per week or more Fridays off (optional) Students will rotate through subjects throughout the day, allowing teachers to focus on their area of expertise while working with small groups of students across grade levels. You stay in your classroom and each grade level rotates to you. Qualifications Teaching degree highly preferred Must be able to write lesson plans CPR certification required Strong knowledge of your subject area Ability to engage students in a positive learning environment Excellent communication and organizational skills Additional Opportunities Teachers may have opportunities to supplement their income/hours through: After-school tutoring Clubs and extracurricular classes Special interest workshops and enrichment programs Teaching/Tutoring opportunities available on Fridays if desired Compensation Pay is based on current student enrollment ($15-$25 an hour).
