Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Tutor to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to fostering a positive learning environment and helping students achieve their academic goals. This role involves working with both neurodiverse and neurotypical students in grade K-5, providing tailored instruction and support in reading, writing, and math. Duties Assess individual student needs and develop personalized lesson plans to enhance learning outcomes. Utilize learning technology and educational resources to facilitate engaging tutoring sessions. Provide instruction in subjects such as math, reading, and writing, adapting methods to suit different learning styles. Support students in early childhood education, special education as needed. Create a nurturing tutoring atmosphere that encourages student participation and confidence. Monitor student progress and provide feedback to both students and parents/guardians regarding academic performance. Collaborate with other educators and staff to ensure comprehensive support for each student's educational journey. Qualifications Minimum 3 years K-5 teaching experience Special Education Teaching Certificate IVP Clearance card Reliable Transportation Must be willing to provide services in the Tempe, Mesa, Gilbert, Chandler, and Queen Creek areas Ability to create or have access to academic resources and materials Join us in making a difference in the lives of our students through effective tutoring!
