About us Grade Potential is a leading provider of personalized, in-person tutoring services nationwide. About the student 10th grade student The student needs to work with a tutor for support with high school Chemistry & Geometry. They would like one tutor for both subjects. The student would also like some executive functioning/organizational skills support. The student is a 10th grader attending Chaparral High School. The student is from a dual language household and can sometimes struggle with English. He just started school 2 weeks ago and is already struggling in his geometry and chemistry classes. Dad wants to be proactive and start having the student work with a tutor to make sure that he doesn't fall behind and that he will do well in both classes. The student also needs help with keeping track of his assignments and staying organized. He has access to all his class assignments online and dad would like the tutor to help the student stay on top of his assignment deadlines and help keep him accountable. The goals are for the student to work with a tutor to make sure that he does well in his geometry and chemistry classes, stays organized, completes his assignments, gets good grades, and improves his English. The family wants 1 hour sessions once a week from 3pm-4pm on either Tuesday or Thursday. The family is seeking a tutor who can meet at their home in Scottsdale near where East Paradise Lane meets N 71st Street and the upper eastern corner of the Westin Kierland Golf Course. Qualifications Ideal candidates have prior experience working with high school students. Ideal candidates will have prior experience teaching/tutoring high school chemistry & geometry. Ideal candidates will have a teaching certification. Willing to travel within your preferred local radius to meet the student (typically 5-10 miles) Due to insurance requirements, applicants must not be a minor. Student Availability
