Help students strengthen foundational skills while building confidence, curiosity, and a positive relationship with learning. Do you love working with elementary-aged children and helping them develop the skills that support both academic success and long-term growth? We are seeking warm, reliable educators to provide personalized, in-home academic support for students in Grades 3-5 throughout the Phoenix, Scottsdale, and Paradise Valley areas. At Peak Academics, we believe meaningful learning happens through connection. Our whole-child approach combines individualized academic support with encouragement, creativity, and relationship-building to help students feel capable, engaged, and successful. This role is ideal for educators who enjoy creating meaningful connections and adapting instruction to meet each student's unique learning needs. Hours gradually build to 5-10 hours per week during after-school and early evening hours based on your availability and client needs. Local candidates only, please.

What You'll Do:

Provide 1:1 in-home support in core academic areas including reading, writing, and math Reinforce grade-level concepts and support students with coursework and homework as appropriate Use engaging, individualized strategies that strengthen understanding and build confidence Help students develop foundational study habits, organization, and task completion skills Foster independence and a positive relationship with learning Communicate regularly with families regarding goals, progress, and scheduling

What We're Looking For:

Bachelor's degree or higher in Education AZ teacher certification Experience teaching students in Grades 3-5 Strong understanding of upper elementary reading, writing, and math development Ability to explain concepts clearly and adapt support to different learning styles Familiarity with executive functioning or self-regulation strategies is a plus Whole-child, student-centered mindset Strong communication skills and family partnership approach Reliable transportation for in-home sessions Valid fingerprint clearance card (or willingness to obtain) How to
