Duties Deliver clear and motivating instruction in mathematics, including algebra, geometry, calculus, and SAT preparation tutoring. Assess student progress regularly and adapt teaching strategies to accommodate different learning styles and abilities. Support students in developing problem-solving skills, critical thinking, and effective study habits. Collaborate with parents, educators, or program coordinators to track student progress and set achievable objectives. Experience Proven experience in tutoring or teaching mathematics at various levels, including elementary through college coursework. Strong background in curriculum development and familiarity with learning technology platforms. Experience working with students from diverse cultural backgrounds and adapting instruction accordingly. Knowledge of science tutoring, English language arts tutoring, or special education is a plus. Demonstrated ability to communicate complex concepts clearly and effectively across different age groups. Prior experience with online instruction or virtual tutoring platforms is highly desirable. Excellent writing skills, classroom management abilities, and a genuine passion for education are essential for success in this role.
