Part-Time Math & English Tutor / After-School Teacher Best Learning Center - 4.5 Brea, CA Job Details Part-time $18 - $22 an hour 1 day ago Qualifications Basic math English Experience working with high schoolers Working with students Literacy education Full Job Description Part-Time Math & English Tutor / After-School Teacher Best Learning Center is looking for a responsible, patient, and enthusiastic part-time teacher/tutor to work with elementary, middle, and high school students. Responsibilities Teach 5th-6th grade Math and English Teach Middle School Math Teach High School Math Help students understand classwork and homework Explain math concepts clearly and provide step-by-step guidance Assist students with English reading, writing, grammar, and vocabulary at the 5th-6th grade level Work with students individually and in small groups Maintain a positive and productive learning environment Qualifications Strong Math skills and the ability to teach Middle and High School Math Comfortable teaching 5th-6th grade Math and English Patient, dependable, and comfortable working with children and teenagers Good communication skills Previous tutoring or teaching experience is preferred College students, recent college graduates, and experienced tutors are welcome to apply Job Type Part-time Schedule After-school hours on weekdays. Specific days and hours can be discussed based on availability. Pay $18.00-$22.00 per hour , depending on experience and ability to teach higher-level math.
