A Janitor or Cleaner provides cleaning and basic maintenance in buildings such as schools, offices, stores, hospitals or hotels. Cleans and polishes floors, removes trash, vacuums carpets, washes windows, cleans bathrooms, stocks building supplies such as light bulbs and paper towels and performs minor repairs as needed. Holds keys for rooms and building entrances and locks or unlocks them as needed.

Job Description

We're looking for a reliable Janitor to join our team at a busy meat packing company. This is a hands-on job where you'll be keeping different areas of the facility clean and safe. Please note - part of the job will be working in cold environments (refrigerated departments).

Position:

Janitor Shift:

6:00 am to 2:30 pm plus daily overtime, Monday-Friday pay: $19.00 p/h

Location:

Brea, CA Job Duties:

Clean and sanitize production areas, restrooms, and breakroom Take out trash and recycling Sweep, mop, and scrub floors Use cleaning equipment and supplies safely Work in cold rooms throughout the entire shift

Requirements:

Must have relevant janitor, cleaning, or housekeeping experience Comfortable working in cold environments throughout entire shift Able to lift up to 50 lbs. throughout your shift Ability to pass pre-employment background check. Bilingual in English and Spanish a plus, but not required How to
