Job Description

I am looking for an experienced RN, cardiac educator, telemetry instructor, ACLS instructor, or EKG specialist to provide private one-on-one dysrhythmia test preparation. The goal is focused preparation for a hospital nursing dysrhythmia/telemetry competency exam, not a general beginner EKG course. The ideal person should be very comfortable teaching and reviewing:
  • Sinus rhythms
  • Atrial fibrillation and atrial flutter
  • SVT
  • PACs and PVCs
  • Junctional rhythms
  • Ventricular tachycardia and ventricular fibrillation
  • Asystole and PEA
  • First-degree AV block
  • Mobitz I / Wenckebach
  • Mobitz II
  • Third-degree / complete heart block
  • Paced rhythms
  • PR interval, QRS duration, rate calculation, and rhythm interpretation I am specifically looking for someone who can provide intensive practice with rhythm strips and hospital-style questions, identify weak areas, and help me prepare efficiently.
Preferred qualifications:
RN, BSN/MSN, ACLS
instructor, telemetry/cardiac nurse, nurse educator, EKG technician instructor, or comparable experience.
Format:
In person in the Los Angeles area preferred, but Zoom might also work.
Schedule:
ASAP — ideally available within the next few days. Please send a brief description of your experience teaching dysrhythmia interpretation, your credentials, availability, location, and hourly rate.
Pay:
$35.00 - $50.00 per hour
