This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to foster creativity, develop musical skills, and support children's overall development in a dynamic afterschool environment. Your role will be instrumental in helping students explore their musical potential and express themselves confidently through various creative arts activities. Responsibilities Design and implement engaging lesson plans focused on piano and additional instruments such as violin, flute, or trumpet. Provide individualized and group tutoring in musical instruments, emphasizing instrumental performance and music appreciation. Manage classroom behavior effectively, ensuring a safe, respectful, and motivating learning environment for all students. Incorporate curriculum development strategies that align with students' skill levels and developmental needs in both music and visual/performing arts. Track student progress through assessments, provide constructive feedback, and communicate achievements with parents or guardians as needed. Requirement At least bachelor's degree in Piano major or related field Able to teach K-12 how to play Piano Flexible work hour Preferred Able to teach other instruments such as violin, flute, drum or trumpet. Pay:
