Subjects include Algebra 1/2, Geometry, Trigonometry, Pre-Calc, Calculus and span multiple levels like Regular, Honors, Accelerated, Double Accelerated, AP etc. If you enjoy explaining math concepts in a way that makes it click for students and you want flexible and meaningful work, then this position will be a great fit for you. Responsibilities Provide in-person one-on-one or small group (2-4 students) tutoring sessions in high school advanced math subjects. Adapt teaching methods to different learning styles and academic goals. Assist students with test preparation, and study strategies. Track progress and communicate results with students and parents. Help students prepare for SAT/ACT standardized tests. This role in in-person in Fremont, CA. Qualifications Bachelor's degree (completed or currently enrolled) in Math, Physics, Stats or a related field. Previous tutoring or teaching experience at the high school level would be helpful. Strong knowledge of the high school curriculum, including advanced topics. Excellent communication and problem-solving skills. Patient, dependable, and encouraging teaching style. Flexible schedule with afternoons, evenings, and weekends available. Work with motivated students in a supportive, goal-oriented environment.
