Enrichment Coach Better Days Integrated Programs - 5.0 Long Beach, CA Job Details Part-time $23 an hour 2 hours ago Qualifications Experience teaching math English Math Experience working with middle schoolers Working with students Working with youth Full Job Description We are seeking dedicated and enthusiastic Enrichment Coaches for our Afterschool Academic Program, offered to students in grades 3rd-8th. The ideal candidate will have a passion for education and a strong desire to make a positive impact on students' lives. As an enrichment coach you will work one-on-one or in small group settings with students to provide academic support, guidance, and encouragement.
  • Report directly to Program Director
  • Manage and educate students in a non-classroom setting
  • Design and implement lesson plans at varying academic levels and subject matter, including, but not limited to Math, Science, English and History
  • Establish academic goals and milestones with students
  • Lead enrichment activities such as games, activities, crafts, etc
  • Provide constructive feedback for students
  • Maintain accurate records of tutoring sessions, including attendance, lesson plans and student progress reports
  • Attend trainings as scheduled
  • Participate in staff development meetings and in quality-of-care activities on a regular basis
  • Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor
  • Display cultural sensitivity to each client/family and individual's needs and customs, as appropriate
  • Have a passion or personal desire to work with youth in underserved communities
  • MUST have prior experience working with youth

$23.00 per hour
