Job Description
About us A Tree of Knowledge Educational Services, Inc. has been serving K-12 students in need of educational support since 2006. Join our ranks to give back to our community and invest in our kids. Bilingual (Spanish) Tutor A Tree of Knowledge Educational Services is a tutoring company contracting to offer fully subsidized educational services to eligible K-12 public school students. We are currently seeking qualified tutors to commit to tutoring at Birmingham Charter High School in Van Nuys. Applicants must be highly qualified to offer tutoring support in High School Math, English Language Arts, and/or various Sciences such as Chemistry, Biology or Physics. Our tutors are embedded in the classroom offering tutoring support. We have available assignments from 7:30 am to 4:30 pm, five (5) days a week, for a maximum of 31 hours per week. Seeking tutors for immediate hire and start in mid-late September.
Minimum tutor requirements:
- Applicant must have attained at least 60 college credits
- Applicant must have prior tutoring/teaching experience
- Being bilingual (Spanish) is a plus
- Must provide proof of a negative TB test for in-person tutoring
