ANNOUNCEMENT OF POSITION VACANCY SUMMARY

: The Cal Poly Pomona Enterprises is currently searching for 21 Undergraduate Student Assistants (20 hours per week • 8 weeks) to work on the California Learning Lab Grant-funded project titled "Engineering Pathway Program (EPP)" under the supervision of Dr. M. Ronald Yeung, Principal Investigator (PI) in the College of Engineering.

(this is just a small sampling of work variety): The undergraduate student assistant, acting as a tutor, will deliver individual or small group tutoring sessions online for subjects including Statics (C-ID

). Responsibilities encompass clarifying challenging concepts, reviewing course materials, and crafting diagnostic assessments, all while maintaining an engaging and easily understandable approach. These virtual tutoring sessions must be offered either during weekdays or on weekends. Maintaining academic integrity standards and encouraging ethical study habits are also essential duties.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

: Currently enrolled in the Engineering Program. Successfully completed the required course (Statics, Engineering Graphics/Drafting, Surveying, MATLAB, Dynamics, Strength of Materials/Mechanics of Materials, and/or Circuit Analysis), achieving a grade of B+ or higher
