Current Opportunities for Tutoring with Day Prep We are hiring for positions starting the week of 8/31 and 9/7. We are currently hiring for 7 in-person tutoring positions in La Jolla, Pt. Loma, San Diego, Coronado, and Rancho Penasquitos. The positions range from 1
  • 10 hours per week with students ranging from grades 1
  • 6. Positions can be combined to create the desired schedule. Day Prep's teachers build meaningful relationships and provide truly individualized instruction. We provide all instructional materials and comprehensive training in our proven teaching methods. Our teachers are supported by clear systems, thoughtful curriculum, and ongoing guidance so they can focus on what matters most: knowing their students. Teachers indicate their preferred grade levels and subject areas so that placements are aligned with their strengths and interests. Compensation Minimum starting rate for tutoring is $50/hour , with higher rates based on client needs as well as teacher experience and specialization.
