We support students from Grade 1 through Grade 12 (G1-G12) in building strong academic foundations, advanced test-taking skills, and competitive academic profiles through structured, high-quality learning experiences. Our private school admissions preparation program is designed to help students strengthen academic readiness, build confidence, and prepare strategically for competitive admissions assessments such as the ISEE. About the ISEE Test Prep Program The ISEE Test Prep Program supports students preparing for private school admissions at the elementary, middle, and upper levels.

ISEE Lower Level preparation ISEE Middle Level preparation ISEE Upper Level preparation Verbal Reasoning Quantitative Reasoning Reading Comprehension Mathematics Achievement Essay writing for the ISEE Test-taking strategies and pacing Diagnostic assessment and progress tracking Students are guided to understand the structure of the exam, strengthen core academic skills, and improve accuracy, speed, and confidence across all tested sections. Who This Role Is For We are looking for educators who are experienced in standardized test preparation, especially ISEE or private school admissions testing. The ideal candidate can teach both verbal and quantitative sections, explain strategies clearly, and adapt instruction based on each student's level, target schools, and testing timeline. Experience with private school admissions, SSAT, HSPT, SAT/ACT, or academic enrichment is a strong plus. What You'll Do Lead ISEE preparation sessions for students applying to private schools Teach Verbal Reasoning, Quantitative Reasoning, Reading Comprehension, Mathematics Achievement, and Essay Writing Help students understand test format, timing, question types, and scoring expectations Provide structured practice using diagnostic tests, drills, and full-length practice exams Teach vocabulary-building strategies, reading comprehension methods, and math problem-solving techniques Help students improve pacing, accuracy, confidence, and test-taking discipline Identify student strengths and weaknesses and adjust instruction accordingly Provide individualized feedback and progress updates Maintain a structured, focused classroom or small-group learning environment Communicate clearly and professionally with families Collaborate with the Summa team on curriculum planning and student progress tracking Who We're Looking For 5+ years of experience teaching, tutoring, or test preparation preferred Experience with ISEE preparation strongly preferred Experience teaching elementary, middle school, and/or high school students Strong understanding of English, reading comprehension, vocabulary, grammar, and math fundamentals Ability to teach both verbal and quantitative sections preferred Familiarity with private school admissions testing is a plus Experience with SSAT, HSPT, SAT, ACT, or other standardized tests is a plus Strong classroom and small-group management skills Patient, structured, engaging, and results-oriented teaching style Ability to explain concepts clearly and adapt to different student levels Bilingual English + Mandarin preferred but not required Ability to Commute San Marino, CA 91108
Required Pay:
