About the student 2nd grade student The student needs to work with a tutor for support with ELA and math skills. The student is a 2nd grader in a home school program. He is struggling with all subjects. He needs to work on ELA in particular. He is homeschooling this year and wants to learn more ELA skills; focusing on writing and reading in particular. The goal is for the student to develop better reading & writing skills and expand his ELA knowledge. The family wants 2 hour sessions 4 times a week between 9am-2pm Monday through Thursday. The family is seeking a tutor who can meet at their home in Twentynine Palms near the VCA 29 Palms Animal Hospital & Elks Lodge #2134. Qualifications Ideal candidates have prior experience working with elementary students. Ideal candidates will have prior experience teaching/tutoring ELA and math. Ideal candidates will have a teaching certification. Willing to travel within your preferred local radius to meet the student (typically 5-10 miles) Due to insurance requirements, applicants must not be a minor. Student Availability
