Full Job Description Expected Start Date:
Early September Thrive Academics is hiring dependable, in-person tutors to provide academic instruction for K-12 students at the Victorville Youth Probation Center . Tutors work with students in an individualized, walk-in learning environment where each session is tailored to the student's current academic needs. Because attendance varies throughout the day, tutors should be comfortable adapting quickly and providing support in a variety of core subject areas. This role is ideal for individuals who are organized, flexible, and passionate about helping students succeed in a structured educational setting. Schedule This position is based at the Victorville Youth Probation Center and is anticipated to begin in early September .
Mondays & Wednesdays:
8:30 AM - 11:30
AM Optional Thursday Shift:
8:30 AM - 11:30 AM Qualifications At least 60 completed college credits Ability to assist K-12 students in core academic subjects Comfortable working in a structured educational environment Reliable transportation Spanish/English bilingual skills are preferred but not required Preferred Qualifications Spanish/English bilingual Strong mathematics background, including Algebra II or higher Dependable, punctual, and committed to supporting student achievement Able to build positive relationships with students while maintaining professionalism
Pay:
