The ideal candidate will have a strong background in both chemistry and biology, as well as experience in tutoring or teaching. This role involves creating engaging lesson plans, utilizing learning technology, and providing personalized instruction to help students achieve their academic goals. Duties Provide one-on-one tutoring sessions focusing on specific topics such as organic chemistry, biochemistry, microbiology, genetics, and physiology. Utilize various teaching methods to accommodate different learning styles and abilities. Employ learning technology effectively to enhance student engagement and understanding. Maintain a positive learning environment through effective classroom management techniques. Collaborate with parents and other educators to monitor student progress and adjust teaching strategies as needed. Foster a supportive atmosphere that encourages questions and promotes critical thinking skills. Qualifications Proven experience in tutoring or teaching chemistry and biology at various educational levels. Familiarity with special education practices is a plus. Excellent computer skills for lesson planning and utilizing educational software. Experience working with children or adults in an educational setting is preferred.
