Job Description

After-School Tutor
  • K-8 Aliquest Education at AXL Academy | Aurora, CO $25/hour | Part-Time | After School Aliquest Education is hiring a reliable, energetic After-School Tutor to work with students in grades K-8. Responsibilities
  • Provide tutoring support in reading, reading comprehension, math, and foundational skills
  • Work with students individually and in small groups
  • Follow weekly lesson plans and learning goals
  • Prepare engaging activities and learning materials
  • Maintain a positive, structured learning environment
  • Build relationships with students and encourage academic confidence
  • Track student progress and communicate student needs to the program manager We're Looking For Someone Who Is

  • Patient, positive, and great with kids
  • Comfortable working with multiple grade levels
  • Organized and prepared
  • Able to manage a group while supporting individual students
  • Creative and willing to make learning fun
  • Comfortable taking initiative Education, tutoring, paraprofessional, childcare, or youth-program experience preferred.
You will receive academic direction and student learning priorities from the program manager—you will be responsible for preparing and delivering engaging instruction and activities.
Schedule:
After school, approximately 3:00-6:00
PM Pay:
$25/hour
