Overview We are seeking a engaging, enthusiastic, and knowledgeable Advanced Math Tutor to support students from middle school through high school and beyond. The ideal candidate has a strong background in advanced mathematics and related sciences, along with an engaging, hands-on teaching style that makes complex concepts approachable and enjoyable. They should be motivating, encouraging, and passionate about building students' confidence while adapting instruction to meet diverse learning needs. Experience developing engaging lessons, utilizing educational technology, and creating a positive, supportive learning environment is essential. Responsibilities Provide one-on-one tutoring sessions in advanced mathematics topics including Algebra, Geometry, Trigonometry, Calculus, Differential Equations, etc. Develop and customize lesson plans tailored to individual student learning styles and academic goals. Utilize modern learning technology and educational software to enhance instruction and engagement. Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback to help improve their understanding and performance. Maintain accurate records of tutoring sessions and student development. Foster a positive learning environment. Skills Strong expertise in advanced mathematics including Algebra, Geometry, Trigonometry, Calculus, Differential Equations, etc. Experience with curriculum development and lesson planning tailored to various educational levels. Proficiency with learning technology tools and educational software platforms. Excellent tutoring skills with experience working with preteens, teenagers, and adult learners. Ability to communicate complex concepts clearly and effectively across different age groups and skill levels. Additional Information Prior experience with 6-12 Math required Preferred availability: 3:30-8:00 PM (2-10 hours/week) Most families want after school hours. Set your own schedule.

Starting pay:

$27 per tutoring session. 1099 Independent Contractor position (LLC encouraged, not required) Add more clients to existing tutoring business! Background check required if not currently licensed (please include license in application) Licensed or formerly licensed teachers and substitutes are highly encouraged to apply.
