Certified Academic Support Tutor Ivy Drive Elementary School utilizes Title I funding to support equitable access to high-quality instruction and targeted academic interventions that address the diverse needs of our student population. In alignment with our school mission—to inspire students by building meaningful relationships, setting high expectations, and providing opportunities for ALL to succeed—Ivy Drive implements evidence-based supports designed to improve academic outcomes and promote whole-child development. A key Title I investment at Ivy Drive School is the Certified Academic Support Tutor position. This role provides targeted academic support to students through individual and small-group instruction during the school day. The Academic Support Tutor works in collaboration with classroom teachers to reinforce grade-level learning objectives, address identified skill gaps, and accelerate student learning based on ongoing assessment data. This support ensures that students who require additional instruction receive timely and appropriate intervention to meet academic expectations. The Academic Support Tutor also plays a critical role in fostering a safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environment, aligning with Ivy Drive's commitment to mutual respect, open communication, and student well-being. Through consistent relationship-building and differentiated instructional practices, students receiving academic support experience increased confidence, engagement, and academic resilience. In addition to supporting academic achievement, Title I services at Ivy Drive emphasize social-emotional growth. The Academic Support Tutor helps students develop perseverance, problem-solving skills, and self-confidence by providing structured support and positive feedback aligned with the school'sP.R.I.D.E.

Seeking a certified educator to provide academic support by tutoring students individually or leading small groups during the school day.Key Responsibilities:
Tutor students individually or in small groups based on academic needs Support classroom instruction and reinforce learning objectives Monitor student progress and communicate feedback to classroom teachers Maintain a safe and productive learning environment Collaborate with teachers and staff to support student successQualifications:
Current teaching certification Experience working with students in academic settings Strong communication and organizational skills Ability to adapt instruction to meet individual student needsRATE:
$31.15/hrHOURS:
