Until filled Farmington Public Schools has a continuous need for Homebound Tutors. Homebound Tutors provide tutoring services to students who are unable to attend school. Bachelor's degree is required; variety of grade levels and subject areas available. Hours are dependent upon student need. No benefits

QUALIFICATIONS

A. Bachelor's Degree required. B. Candidate should demonstrate the ability to develop and maintain a good rapport with students and possess a personable relationship with teachers. C. Consideration will be given to the following: 1. ability to carry out directions in both oral and written form. 2. various life/work experiences that contribute to the candidate's overall preparedness. Prior experience working with school age children is a plus.

SALARY:

$25.00 Bachelor's Degree ; $30.00 if candidate has State of CT Certification

WORK SCHEDULE

Approximately 10 hours per week, various times during the school day, grade levels and subject areas
