Job Description
The Writing Tutor will tutor students in all types of college-level writing. Tutor hours vary. A schedule will be built using the tutor's preferences and the needs of the Tutoring Center. 10-15 tutoring hours are required each week while the college is in session, with the potential for additional hours after an initial trial period. Tutoring appointments will be offered in-person, between the hours of 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. Ideal candidates will be able to work Mondays, Tuesdays and/or Wednesdays, which are currently understaffed. Training is provided in early August; the tutoring center opens to students on August 28.
