Full Job Description Position:

K-2 Stem Lead Instructor Do you love working with kids and technology and have previous experience in basic block based computer programming, have experience working with children ages 5 to 9, enjoy creating STEM activities? If you answered yes, this might be the job for you! What are we looking for? Code Ninjas Trumbull is looking for a Lead Junior Instructor who can help create a fun and safe environment where children ages 5 to 9 can explore basic coding and STEM activities. The Lead Junior Instructor will be responsible for monitoring and teaching Code Ninjas JR program as well as implementing curriculum to support their technological development.

Responsibilities include:

Create a positive, safe, and fun environment in which student can grow Learn and teach Code Ninjas' JR curriculum Develop/modify STEM activities to support JR and camp curriculum Follow opening/closing and cleaning duties daily

Qualifications:

Experience working with children ages 5 and up (2 year - Required) Enthusiastic about working with kids; mentoring and teaching Experience with block based coding (Scratch) Patient, kind, and understanding Works well with others; collaborates and takes pride in their work Upbeat and fun individual with a passion for technology and learning Willing to learn basic coding and explore new technology Who are we?
