Tutoring For Success is seeking an experienced tutor who can travel to the student's home once per week after 4:00, preferably on Thursdays. The location is in NW Washington DC and has plenty of street parking. This 2nd grade student needs help with reading and writing.

Responsibilities:

• Provide home-based tutoring sessions once per week to assist a2nd grade student with reading and writing.
• Develop personalized lesson plans based on the student's individual needs and learning style.
• Monitor student's progress and provide feedback.
• Maintain a positive and supportive learning environment.

Skills:

• Significant recent experience tutoring elementary school subjects
• Excellent communication skills
• Patience and empathy to work with students who may be struggling with their studies.
• Ability to adapt teaching methods to accommodate different learning styles.
