We are seeking talented, dependable, and engaging English/ELA Tutors to join our team.

IN-PERSON

availability is currently our priority , although limited virtual opportunities may be available for highly qualified tutors. We are looking for tutors who enjoy working with students and can commit to providing consistent academic support throughout the school year. Areas May Include Elementary Reading & Writing Reading Comprehension Grammar Vocabulary Essay Writing Middle School ELA High School English Literature AP/AICE English courses SAT/ACT Reading & English You do not need to tutor every area or grade level. Tutors are matched with students according to their individual experience and strengths. What We're Looking For Ideal candidates are: Strong writers and communicators Knowledgeable in the subjects and grade levels they tutor Patient and encouraging Able to help students improve both skills and confidence Reliable, punctual, and professional Consistent with their schedules and commitments Comfortable working one-on-one with students Able to travel to students for in-person sessions, when applicable Previous teaching, tutoring, or relevant educational experience is a plus. Schedule This is a flexible, part-time opportunity. Most sessions take place after school, evenings, and weekends.

Pay:

$30.00 - $50.00 per hour
