Diversified Education Services is an executive function coaching practice established in 2009, with an office in Boca Raton. We are hiring one coach for a specific case. The client is an adult in his 30s in the Boca Raton area. The work is executive function coaching focused on the life skills piece: critical daily living skills, taking care of himself day-to-day, and interacting with people in public. This is community-based. It is not a sit-at-the-table-and-work case. You will meet the client at a coffee shop, the library, or elsewhere in the community and work with him in real-world settings. The client has support in place at home, and we coordinate with the family on where you meet and how he gets there.

Schedule:

Once a week in the afternoons (potentially more over time), with daytime sessions also available. This is one case to start, with more work available as our Boca Raton practice grows.

What we are looking for:

Special education certification (current or previous) preferred Experience with adults or transition-age students with developmental disabilities, autism, or related needs Background in transition services, community-based instruction, supported employment, or adult day programs is a strong plus Comfortable working one-on-one in public settings Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license Patient, practical, and consistent Additional details: Coaches are hired as independent contractors, not employees You control your own schedule and instructional approach and are responsible for your own taxes No restrictions on outside work Compensation is competitive for the South Florida market and reflects our commitment to hiring experienced professionals If this matches your background, we would like to hear from you.
