Duties Deliver one-on-one or small group tutoring sessions in subjects such as mathematics, science, English language arts, and test preparation (including SAT) Develop and adapt curriculum materials tailored to individual student needs and learning styles Utilize learning technology tools to enhance instructional effectiveness and engagement Assess student progress regularly and adjust lesson plans accordingly to ensure continuous improvement Support students with special education needs and implement inclusive teaching strategies Manage classroom behavior and create a positive, respectful learning environment for students from diverse cultural backgrounds Collaborate with parents, teachers, and staff to track student development and set achievable goals Skills Strong knowledge of curriculum development and instructional adaptability across various subjects Proficiency with learning technology platforms and online instruction methods Excellent tutoring skills with experience in math, science, English language arts, or test prep (such as SAT) Ability to work effectively with students of different ages, backgrounds, and learning styles Experience working with children, including preschool or childcare settings, as well as adult education environments Effective classroom management techniques and lesson planning expertise Exceptional communication skills to clearly convey concepts and motivate learners Embark on a rewarding journey where your enthusiasm for teaching meets the opportunity to empower learners at every stage of their educational path.
