In this role, you will deliver engaging instruction tailored to the needs of middle school learners(one-on-one), helping them develop a strong foundation in math concepts such as algebra & geometry. Your enthusiasm for teaching and commitment to student success will foster a positive learning environment where students feel confident and motivated to excel academically. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact on young learners while honing your teaching skills across diverse math topics and educational settings. Responsibilities Deliver clear, engaging lessons in middle school math topics including algebra, geometry, Develop customized lesson plans that align with curriculum standards and individual student needs Utilize various learning technologies when required Assess student progress regularly Support students in test preparation for exams such as state assessments or standardized tests Effectively foster a respectful and productive learning environment Collaborate with parents, teachers, and other educators to monitor student progress and address learning challenges Experience Prior experience teaching or tutoring middle school students in math Demonstrated ability to develop curriculum materials and lesson plans for diverse learning styles Familiarity with online learning technology tools if necessary Knowledge of middle school math topics Experience working with children or teenagers in educational settings or extracurricular programs Excellent communication abilities Background in special education or working with students with diverse learning needs is advantageous
