Full Job Description Benefits:
Bonus based on performance Competitive salary Paid time off Puyana Plastic Surgery is seeking an experienced, proactive, and hands-on Operations Manager to lead the day-to-day operations of our growing plastic surgery practice. This position oversees the operations of the practice , including front desk, patient coordination, scheduling, patient communications and experience, medical-office workflows, staff performance, and overall operational efficiency. We are looking for a strong leader and executor who takes ownership, holds the team accountable, solves problems proactively, and ensures established processes are consistently followed. This is not a desk-only management position—the Practice Manager should be comfortable stepping in and supporting the team directly, including acting as a patient/surgical coordinator when needed. Key Responsibilities Lead and manage the non-OR practice team, including front desk, patient coordinators, and medical-office staff. Oversee daily operations, staffing, scheduling, patient flow, communications, and overall patient experience. Set clear expectations and hold employees accountable for performance, professionalism, and follow-through. Ensure patient calls, messages, inquiries, and follow-ups are handled promptly and appropriately. Oversee patient coordinators and monitor leads, consultations, quotes, bookings, cancellations, follow-up, and conversion performance. Step in as a patient/surgical coordinator when additional support or coverage is needed. Monitor operational and team KPIs and identify opportunities for improvement. Ensure staff consistently follow established policies, SOPs, systems, and workflows. Handle escalated patient and operational issues professionally and proactively. Identify problems, implement practical solutions, and reduce the need for ownership involvement in routine daily operations. Collaborate closely with the OR Manager when coordination between the office and surgical departments is needed. Qualifications 3+ years of medical practice management, healthcare operations, or comparable leadership experience preferred. Plastic surgery, cosmetic surgery, aesthetics, dermatology, or elective healthcare experience strongly preferred. Experience managing patient coordinators and front-office teams. Strong leadership, organization, communication, and problem-solving skills. Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. Professional, polished, patient-focused, and highly accountable. Strong technology skills and ability to learn new systems quickly. Bilingual English/Spanish strongly preferred. What We're Looking For The ideal candidate is an owner-minded, hands-on leader who anticipates problems, follows through, manages people effectively, and gets things done. They should be equally comfortable leading the team, reviewing performance, solving operational problems, and stepping in to help patients when needed. Success in this role means patients are well taken care of, employees know what is expected of them, leads and follow-ups don't fall through the cracks, workflows are organized, problems are resolved, and the practice becomes less dependent on ownership for daily execution . Compensation Competitive base salary + performance-based bonus tied to established practice and individual KPIs.
