K-8 After School Tutor Mindovation Doral, FL Job Details Contract From $20 an hour 5 hours ago Benefits Flexible schedule Qualifications Writing skills Basic math English High school diploma or GED Experience working with middle schoolers Working with students Camp experience Full Job Description Monday-Friday | Between 2:00-5:00 PM | Flexible Around College Schedules Job Summary We are looking for a reliable, positive, and caring After-School Tutor to work with students in Grades K-8. Tutors will support students with homework, weekly test review, reading, math, and general academic support in a small-group setting. This is a great opportunity for college students, education majors, future teachers, or anyone who enjoys working with children. We understand college schedules and can work with your availability within our after-school hours. Responsibilities Help students complete and understand homework assignments Review material for quizzes, tests, and upcoming assessments Provide support in reading, writing, math, science, and other school subjects Work with students individually and in small groups Explain concepts in a patient and encouraging way Help students stay focused, organized, and on task Maintain a positive and supportive learning environment Qualifications Comfortable working with students in Grades K-8 Strong basic math, reading, and writing skills Patient, dependable, responsible, and encouraging Able to communicate well with children and adults Previous tutoring, teaching, childcare, camp, or after-school experience is a plus College students and education majors are encouraged to apply Experience working with students with different learning needs is a plus If you are seeking a flexible role with adjustable hours and love working with kids, this is the role for you.
