Fort Lauderdale, FL Pay:
$45-$50 per hour
Schedule:
Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday, 7:00 p.m.-8:00 p.m.
Hours:
Approximately 3 hours per week
Position Type:
Part-Time We are looking for a kind, patient, and experienced French tutor to work one-on-one with our three elementary-school children, currently in Grades 1-3. Each child will have their own dedicated one-hour session once per week:
Tuesday:
7:00 p.m.-8:00 p.m.
Wednesday:
7:00 p.m.-8:00 p.m.
Thursday:
7:00 p.m.-8:00 p.m. We are specifically looking for someone who speaks and teaches French from France (Metropolitan French) and who enjoys working with young children. Responsibilities Help each child complete and understand their weekly French homework Review material taught in school Practice vocabulary, grammar, reading, and pronunciation Help prepare for quizzes, tests, and assignments Practice conversational French Identify areas where additional support is needed Keep each child organized and caught up with their French coursework Make learning positive, encouraging, and enjoyable Ideal Candidate Fluent or native-level French speaker Strong familiarity with French from France Experience tutoring or teaching elementary-school-aged children Warm, sweet, patient, and encouraging personality Comfortable assisting with homework and school assignments Able to explain concepts clearly and in an age-appropriate way Dependable, organized, and punctual Able to keep young children engaged and focused Our goal is to find someone who can help each child successfully complete their French work for the week while also making sure they understand and retain what they are learning . This is an ongoing position for someone interested in developing a consistent relationship with the children throughout the school year.

$150.00 per week
