A Tutor works with students who need additional help or review. Provides instruction in an academic subject, or reviews a particular class lesson, or assists with preparing for a test. Works with students one-on-one or in a small group, and usually meets with students outside of school.
Northwest Campus - Gainesville, FL Job Description Summary The Math Studio is seeking mathematically-minded individuals with an interest in teaching or part-time tutoring. Job Description The primary task is to assist and promote active learning for Math Studio students. Tutors may also be expected to assist with exam proctoring and other academic duties. Responsibilities and Duties Provide tutoring to students in algebra courses. Assist instructors in performance of their duties Assist with proctoring as needed. Perform other duties as assigned.

A Bachelor's degree, preferably in a STEM discipline is required. A criminal background check will be conducted.
