BRIGHT STARTS TUTORING AND EDUCATIONAL SERVICES

is looking for a professional instructor to work with students from 5-12 grades for the entire 2026-2027 school year, PLUS summer 2027 as well. All sudents are located on the same grounds. We are an in-home tutoring service and are looking for qualified individuals with great organization skills as well as patience. At this time, we are tutoring children in foster-care who need educational support of year round schooling. Before submitting your application/resume please read ALL important information below.

• Must be 20 years of age or older
• Prior experience in tutoring, mentoring, or teaching students from grade levels K-12 or above.
• A.A. degree or higher in education, mental health, law, or science, from a college or university
• Outstanding organization skills, punctual, excellent communication skills, problem solver, and a great team player.
• Computer knowledge
• Able to commit for at least 4 months or more.
• Must be fluent in English
• Must have reliable transportation
• Flexibility with days and times for tutoring the students
• Ability to meet strict deadlines for required documentation

It will be reviewed by our hiring administrator. The children receive anywhere between 1.5 to 3 hours of tutoring per week. It is up to you to organize those hours with the caregivers. This way, you may obtain more students.

Tutors document every session on an online program.
