Job Description
Job Summary Proctors, Inc. is in need of a Proctor for a paper pencil exam scheduled in the Orlando area coming up on Friday, September 18th. The exam is from 9 Am to 2 PM. Proctors are paid the day of the exam. Mileage and parking is also paid. Duties Welcome and assist test-takers, ensuring they understand testing procedures and requirements Monitor testing sessions attentively to prevent cheating or disruptions, maintaining exam security Verify identification and registration details for all test participants before testing begins Distribute testing materials, answer procedural questions, and provide clear instructions throughout the exam Observe test-takers continuously during the session, documenting any irregularities or incidents Collect and secure completed tests and materials at the end of each session according to protocol Maintain detailed records of testing sessions, including attendance, start/end times, and any noteworthy occurrences Experience Prior experience in teaching, tutoring, or working with students is highly desirable Familiarity with standardized testing procedures and protocols enhances effectiveness in this role Strong customer service skills to support test-takers with professionalism and patience Excellent communication skills for clear instructions and effective interaction with diverse individuals Organizational skills to manage multiple testing sessions efficiently and accurately Experience in adult education or classroom environments is a plus but not required Ability to remain attentive, composed, and discreet in a fast-paced testing environment This role is ideal for a motivated individual who is punctual, and understand the testing process.
