A Tutor works with students who need additional help or review. Provides instruction in an academic subject, or reviews a particular class lesson, or assists with preparing for a test. Works with students one-on-one or in a small group, and usually meets with students outside of school.
The Part-Time Technician, Mathematics Peer Tutor, participates in selected on-campus mathematics classes.
Job Duties:
Attend all class sessions, take notes, and read all course materials. Present group study/review sessions for students in the course at least twice each week. Attend and support student success events.
Required Qualifications:
High School diploma or a GED equivalent.
