Responsibilities:
Seeking a private tutor that is certified to teach in the state of Florida. Can work weekdays teaching special needs children with Down Syndrome, and Autism in home and at ABA clinics.
- Conduct tutoring sessions with students in a one-on-one or small group setting
- Develop and implement individualized lesson plans based on students' needs and goals
- Provide instruction and support in various subjects, including math, science, English, and social studies
- Adapt teaching methods to accommodate different learning styles and abilities
- Monitor student progress and provide feedback to parents or guardians
- Collaborate with teachers and other educational professionals to support student success
- Utilize effective classroom management techniques to create a positive learning environment
- Communicate regularly with parents or guardians to discuss student progress and address any concerns
Skills:
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Experience working with children or students in an educational setting
- Knowledge of various teaching strategies and techniques
- Ability to assess student needs and develop appropriate instructional plans
- Familiarity with special education or adult education principles is a plus
- Patience, empathy, and the ability to build rapport with students As a Tutor, you will have the opportunity to make a positive impact on students' academic growth and development.
