Job Summary Are you passionate about empowering students to reach their full academic potential? True Education, a leading education business, is seeking dedicated and experienced Private Tutors to join our team and assist students in achieving success in the SAT/ACT and AP exams.
Position Overview:
As a Private Tutor for True Education, you will play a pivotal role in helping students K-12 excel in their ACT/SAT and AP examinations. You will work closely with individual students to provide personalized tutoring sessions, focusing on enhancing their test-taking skills, understanding of subject matter, and overall academic confidence.
Responsibilities:
Conduct tutoring sessions for students preparing for the SAT and AP Exam. Assess the individual learning needs of each student and apply accordingly Cover key concepts, strategies, and test-taking techniques relevant to the school work or exams. Provide constructive feedback and guidance to students, fostering a positive and motivating learning environment. Monitor student progress and adapt teaching methods as needed to ensure optimal results. Stay updated on the latest changes and developments in education specifically in testing. Communicate effectively with center director regarding student progress and performance.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (Education, Mathematics, English, etc.). Strong knowledge of the content and format of the ACT/SAT and AP Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Patience, adaptability, and a genuine passion for helping students succeed. Familiarity with True Education's mission and values as reflected on our website.
Pay:
$25.00 - $35.00 per hour
