Responsibilities Develop and implement comprehensive Spanish language curricula aligned with educational standards and student needs. Deliver dynamic classroom instruction that incorporates various teaching methods, including multimedia resources, interactive activities, and real-world language practice. Adapt lessons to accommodate different learning styles and abilities, including students with disabilities or special education needs. Manage classroom behavior effectively to create a safe, respectful, and engaging learning environment. Use Learning Management Systems (LMS) to track student progress, assign coursework, and communicate with students and parents. Analyze student performance data regularly to identify areas for improvement and tailor instructional strategies accordingly. Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum development, lesson planning, and instructional modifications to enhance overall program quality. Communicate regularly with parents regarding student progress, achievements, and areas for growth through meetings or written updates. Incorporate elements of music or cultural activities related to the Spanish-speaking world to enrich language learning experiences. Ensure compliance with educational policies, regulations, and standards while maintaining high expectations for student achievement. Skills Proven classroom teaching experience with elementary school students or in private school settings. Strong knowledge of Spanish language instruction, literacy education, math integration, and standardized testing preparation. Familiarity with Learning Management Systems (LMS) and modern learning technology tools. Experience working with children from diverse cultural backgrounds and those with special education needs. Excellent classroom management skills combined with effective behavior management techniques. Ability to develop engaging lesson plans that address various learning styles and instructional modifications. Skilled in analyzing student performance data to inform instruction and improve outcomes. Effective communication skills for collaborating with colleagues, parents, and students alike. Knowledge of childhood development principles relevant to early education environments. Experience working within educational compliance frameworks and understanding regulations governing elementary education programs.
