Overview Join our dynamic educational team as a Math Tutor and Assistant Center Director, where your passion for mathematics and teaching excellence will inspire students to reach their full potential. In this pivotal role, you will lead engaging tutoring sessions, support curriculum development, and help manage day-to-day operations of the learning center. Duties Deliver personalized tutoring in math topics including prealgebra, algebra, geometry, calculus, trigonometry, statistics, and related subjects to students of various ages and skill levels. Develop and adapt curriculum materials using innovative learning technology to enhance understanding and engagement. Prepare students for standardized tests through targeted test preparation tutoring strategies. Assist in managing the learning center's daily operations, including scheduling sessions and coordinating with other tutors. Support the creation of lesson plans that incorporate best practices in classroom management and differentiated instruction for diverse learners. Collaborate with educators and parents to monitor student progress and tailor instruction accordingly. Skills Extensive knowledge of math disciplines such as elementary and middle school math, algebra, geometry, calculus, trigonometry and statistics. Proven experience in tutoring or teaching math at various levels of children; classroom management skills are essential. Strong understanding of lesson planning tailored to individual student needs. Familiarity with learning technology tools used for online instruction and interactive learning environments. Ability to work effectively with students from diverse backgrounds including special education populations and adult learners. Excellent communication skills for engaging students and collaborating with parents and team members. Proficiency in computer skills necessary for managing educational software and virtual instruction platforms.
