Job Description

Are you passionate about helping students succeed? We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Paraprofessional Tutor to provide academic support and guidance to students who need a little extra help to thrive. Join our team and make a meaningful difference every day!

Key Responsibilities:

Provide one-on-one and small group academic support in core subjects (e.g., reading, math, writing) Assist students with classwork, homework, and reinforcing skills taught by the classroom teacher Support students' academic and behavioral growth under the direction of general and special education teachers Collaborate with teachers and staff to implement individualized instructional strategies Monitor student progress and provide feedback to instructional staff Help maintain a safe, respectful, and inclusive learning environment Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent Must pass background and reference checks Preferred candidates may also have: At least 48 semester credits of 100-level or higher coursework from a regionally accredited institution, including a minimum of 3 credits each in math and English, an Associate's degree or higher from a regionally accredited institution, a passing score of 459 or higher on the ETS ParaPro Assessment Strong communication, patience, and interpersonal skills Ability to follow teacher direction and school protocols Experience working with diverse learners, including students with IEPs or English language learners Familiarity with academic intervention programs or classroom technology Why Join Us? Friday Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday:

7:45 AM

•11:30 AM or 10:30 AM

PM Wednesday:

7:45 AM

•11:45 AM or 10:30 AM

PM Note:

Candidates may be assigned to either morning or midday shifts based on school needs and availability.

Additional Information:

Selected candidates will be asked to complete a background check, meet immunization requirements, and participate in a brief screening interview.
