Job Overview We are seeking a passionate and dynamic Part-Time English Tutor to inspire learners of all ages and backgrounds. This role offers an exciting opportunity to deliver personalized language instruction, foster literacy development, and utilize innovative learning technologies. As an English Tutor, you will create engaging lesson plans, adapt teaching methods to meet diverse student needs—including those with disabilities—and support language acquisition in a flexible, rewarding environment. Your enthusiasm and instructional expertise will empower students to achieve their language goals and build confidence in their communication skills. Duties Develop individualized lesson plans tailored to each student's learning style, goals, and proficiency level Deliver engaging instruction in English, incorporating curriculum development and instructional adaptability Utilize e-learning platforms and learning technology tools to enhance remote and in-person lessons Incorporate literacy education techniques to improve reading, writing, listening, and speaking skills Adapt teaching strategies for students with special needs or disabilities, ensuring inclusive learning experiences Manage classroom dynamics effectively, fostering a positive and respectful environment for all learners Support students working with foreign languages such as Mandarin, French, Japanese, or other languages by integrating relevant cultural context and language practice Requirements Proven experience in tutoring or teaching English as a second language (ESL) or foreign languages Strong writing skills and the ability to develop creative lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards Experience working with students with disabilities or special education needs is highly desirable Familiarity with learning technology, e-learning platforms, and digital classroom management tools Background in literacy education, early childhood education, preschool experience or childcare is advantageous Ability to adapt instruction based on individual student needs and learning progress Excellent communication skills and patience when working with children and diverse learner populations Multilingual abilities such as Mandarin, French or Japanese are a plus but not required Join us in making a meaningful impact through education!
