McHenry County, IL | Part-Time | $30-$32/hour LP Tutors is a privately owned tutoring company serving families throughout McHenry County. We specialize in personalized, one-on-one, in-home tutoring and currently serve McHenry, Woodstock, Crystal Lake, Lake in the Hills, Algonquin, Huntley, and surrounding communities. We are currently looking for an enthusiastic and experienced tutor to work primarily with high school and college-level students in the McHenry and Crystal Lake areas.

Subjects of particular interest include:

High school & college mathematics English/Language Arts Science ACT/SAT preparation Study skills, organization and academic problem-solving At LP Tutors, we carefully match tutors with students based on subject expertise, location, availability, personality, and individual interests . Candidates Who:

Are authorized to work in the United States Have experience in education, tutoring, or a strong academic field Can successfully complete a background check Have reliable transportation and are comfortable traveling to students' homes or an agreed-upon local location Have afternoon/evening availability during the school year Are dependable, personable, encouraging, and comfortable working one-on-one with students Are CPR certified or willing to become certified (preferred) Teachers, substitute teachers, paraprofessionals, experienced tutors, education professionals, and qualified college students in relevant academic programs are encouraged to apply.
