QUALIFICATIONS:

1. A bachelor's degree in Science or a related subject area. 2. A valid Illinois Certificate Type 90 preferred. 3. Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Board may find appropriate and acceptable.

JOB GOAL

To promote scientific literacy by assisting students in the development and application of scientific skills, knowledge and principles.

PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES

Tutors secondary pupils in science, utilizing the course of study adopted by the Board of Education and appropriate curriculum publications as guidelines in addressing individual course content.

TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT

Work Year:

4 hours per day for 140 days or less during the 2026-27 school year. The exact number of days will depend on the start date of the chosen candidate. 2.
