This Job Posting is NOT for SUMMER ONLY, looking for someone with school semester availability We are seeking a skilled, motivated part time math tutor/instructor who has a strong mathematics background and excellent communication skills. This is a part time after school position. A math competency test is required for employment consideration. We hire math tutors/instructors with a degree or also students with strong mathematical background or majoring in mathematics, engineering, physics, etc. The students at Mathnasium range from First grade to AP calculus, and also require help with ACT prep. Our math tutors/instructors use Mathnasium designed curriculum to instruct in a 3:1 setting and also provide 1:1 when required. There are no homework assignments for students and no lessons for the teachers to prepare. You will be trained to use the Mathnasium curriculum and provide personalized mathematics instruction in various content areas such as Elementary, Pre-Algebra, Algebra 1, Geometry, Algebra 2, Trigonometry, Pre-Calculus, Calculus, and ACT prep. Continual training in the Mathnasium method is a mandatory part of employment. If you aspire to inspire, then we want you on our team.

Our hourly rate part-time is between $16-$23 an hour. Responsibilities Provide individualized tutoring sessions in all levels of math including calculus, trigonometry, and geometry. Cater to students' learning needs and maintain an encouraging attitude. Utilize Mathnasium Methodology to enhance the educational experience. Foster a positive learning environment through effective communication Communicate progress and challenges with students and parents to ensure continuous improvement. Support learners in achieving their educational goals. Duties include keeping the center clean before and after hours, preparing students binders and other center related duties.
