Full Job Description Description:
The Academic Coach in the Center for Lifelong Learning leads one-on-one lessons that cater to the academic needs and goals of the student. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Works with students to help them understand key concepts, especially those learned in the classroom. Assists students with homework, projects, test preparations, papers, research, and other academic tasks. Provide students with positive and constructive feedback. Adapts instruction to different learning styles and preferences. Builds meaningful connections with students. Offers feedback to teachers and parents when appropriate. Contacts teachers for guidance if necessary. Keeps scheduling calendar up to date and monitors notifications for newly scheduled sessions. Attends all scheduled tutoring sessions, arriving on time. Keeps Director informed of any concerns. Tracks sessions worked in timekeeping app.Requirements:
