JOB STANDARDS AND PERFORMANCE EXPECTATIONS

Provide tutoring to students in one or more subject areas including: College Algebra and College Pre-Algebra Provide academic tutoring in individual or small group settings Assist students with understanding course-related concepts and developing academic skills Help students develop effective study strategies, problem-solving skills, and independent learning habits Adapt tutoring approaches to meet individual student needs Foster an encouraging, professional, and supportive learning environment Serve as a positive role model for students Communicate effectively and professionally with students, faculty, staff, and other members of the university community Maintain a safe and encouraging environment characterized by the FranU missions and core values Perform other related duties as assigned Qualifications

EXPERIENCE

Previous teaching or tutoring experience

EDUCATION

Bachelor's Degree or higher in Mathematics or a related STEM field SKILLS Effective communication skills Ability to demonstrate professional and appropriate behavior
