Job Description

Classroom Tutor The Classroom Tutor is responsible for performing the following duties: Motivate and support students in achieving high levels of academic success. Maintain high behavioral expectations for all students. Provide targeted individual assistance and small-group tutoring. Communicate regularly with students and their support networks regarding academic progress. Collaborate with teachers and school administrators. Participate in required staff-development opportunities. Ensure the security and proper use of computer equipment and accessories. Comply with all school policies and procedures. Reports To, Schedule, and Employment Status Reports to: Principal Employment status: Part-time Work hours: 7:30 a.m.-2:00 p.m. Requirements Demonstrated commitment to the mission and organizational goals of GEO Academies. Completion of at least two years of college or a minimum of 60 college credit hours. Minimum cumulative grade point average of 3.0.
