• Starting at $52/hr (Acton) We are looking for skilled SAT/ACT Tutors who love helping students succeed!

Open Door Education is a locally-owned tutoring firm seeking smart, enthusiastic tutors with expertise in SAT and/or ACT testing to work with high school at our tutoring center in Acton. EXPECTATIONS

• Mastery of verbal and quantitative test prep content and techniques and an ability to teach all sections of each test
• Ability to teach a comprehensive & individualized tutoring program for each incoming student
• Exceptional communication skills that support strong relationships with students and their families
• Familiarity with United States college application and testing process
• Exceptional communication skills that support strong relationships with students and their families
• Punctuality, flexibility, the ability to work one weekend day, and a quick response time to emails, phone calls, and other communications

REQUIREMENTS

• BA or BS required; advanced degrees a plus
• Ability to work in-person at our Acton office
• Teaching/tutoring experience
• Experience working with teens
